There are a number of locations around the extensive gardens that are perfect for your ceremony and photos, the 1830’s stables with cobbles stones, four 200 year old fig trees at the front of the house overlooking panoramic country views stretching for miles, the gardens and sandstone cellar. In addition, Wallalong House can be transformed into any theme or style.

James is a qualified Chef who has been cooking throughout Newcastle and Sydney for the past 16 years. Tess is a hospitality professional who has been working and managing cafes, restaurants and hotels throughout Newcastle for the past 9 years.
Fennel & Co. Catering are a team of like-minded professionals dedicated to providing the highest quality food and service to make your event unique and memorable. Their food is individual and creative – let your food imagination run wild: picture scrumptious canapes, bountiful banquets and marvellous grazing stations.
In early 2013, the Chefs Hatted Restaurant Mason commenced providing off-site catering for Weddings, Private Events and Corporate Functions under the name of Restaurant Mason Catering. They began catering for Weddings at Mindaribba House in 2014 and Wallalong House in 2016; and today caters for over 100 of their weddings each year.
Our team (both kitchen and front of house) are highly experienced working at both venues and committed to ensuring every Wedding is the talk amongst your guests for weeks to follow.
We are ecstatic to be able to say Suki has collaborated with us over the last months in designing a street food menu. This menu is an out-of-this-world experience in taste and authenticity.
Suki has been cooking since she was four with her Korean grandmother and mother. Cooking has been her life long passion and her approach to her craft of cooking street food is the best we have encountered. All Suki's food is made from the very beginning with the finest ingredients and Suki has the most amazing eye for detail.
We wanted to arrive at a point where we felt we had chosen the best street food for both Wallalong House and Mindaribba House.
Venue hire is $10,000 plus GST. This includes cutlery, crockery, white wooden tables, benches, antique day-beds, outdoor pool furniture, two bars, servettes and tablecloths. Strings of festoon lights and fairy lights envelope the pool.
There are antique wooden daybeds, tables, chairs and benches scattered around the property, pool area and verandahs. We have sourced grey marble crockery, ribbed stainless steel cutlery, matt charcoal grey tea and coffee cups, pourers and teapots, white linen serviettes, white ceramic vases, crystal vases, 8 x 2.8 metre Oregon wooden benches for your ceremony, twenty five extra cross-back light blue metal chairs for the ceremony, reclaimed wooden trestle tables and Industrial chairs for your reception.
Belgium linen in all bedrooms, house towels, Aesop’s moisturisers and soap for both wedding guests and house guests, ice machine, fully equipped kitchen and cool room for your use over the weekend, coffee machine and coffee pods. All bedrooms and living rooms are styled with antiques and art work from Morocco, France,India and Indonesia.
The Integrated Bose system is situated in the main lounge area with speakers throughout the house, front verandah and central courtyard.
There is a billiard table in the sandstone cellar.
